The bag  of Mochila Wayùù Angelina apple green color is handmade in South America by the indigenous Wayúu people. This bag has a beautiful and colorful strap made in colored threads embroidered with geometric figures representing symbols of the Wayúu culture found on the caribbean coast of Colombia.

Wayùu  are one of the most Outstading handicrafts of the Colombian Tribe.

The Wayuu are made by the  Guajira tribal community, basically  taking  up  to  two weeks to be completely woven. They are 100% handmade in Cotton Thread and are traditionally used as a fishing net or to carry personal items.

The geometrical patterns represent elements of the Wayùu tribal community The images of natural landscapes, desert and the animals of the Guajira are artistically and symbolically embodied in each design or pattern of each bags of mochila.

The story tells that the Wale’Keru spider fell in love with a man; and they offered him cotton as a gift, which he swallowed and then spread like a twisted stream or woven cotton threads.
